Supported by our internal department for quality and safety, Mainka and all its employees continuously meet the high demands for construction works in the chemical industry, energy industry or special logistics. This continuous effort has paid off: for many years our accident frequency rates have been mere fractions of the German construction industry’s average. 
 

 

Since 1997 our company has been certified according to ISO 9001 [currently ISO 9001:2008].

In 1997 we became one of the first construction companies in Germany to achieve the SCC** certificate, which is the counterpart to the VCA certificate in the Netherlands. In contrast to many other construction companies in Germany, our SCC** certificate is valid for the entire company and thus for each department and all employees. 

 

Since 1986 Mainka has carried the verification of suitability for the assembly of concrete with higher concrete strength (concrete of monitoring classes 2 and 3) from the Materialprüfanstalt für das Bauwesen (Material Testing Institute for the Construction Industry) Hannover (concrete monitoring class ÜK2 and ÜK3 according to DIN 1045-3-3001-07). 

 

Mainka is a founding member of the Gütegemeinschaft (quality community) Halbstarre Deckschichten (semi-rigid top layers), whose chairman, Werner Molde, is a member of our management team. Mainka carries the RAL quality seal for semi-rigid top layers, which was developed for the specific requirements of traffic areas with high static loads, e.g. container storace places.

 

We have certified specialists available for plastic welding according to DVS 2213 and 2212-1. This qualification is necessary for the welding of thermoplastic materials, especially for the building of tanks, apparatus engineering and pipeline laying. In addition to this we are a certified specialist according to GW 301, a qualification procedure which additionally increases the safety in pipeline laying. The provisions of GW 301 are valid for companies, which install, maintain and work on gas and water pipes, which are in operation.

 

Since 1993 Mainka has carried the quality seal RAL Kanalbau AK2 for the installation and maintenance of private and public sewers and drains.

 

Since 1995 Mainka has been a specialist according to the Wasserhaushaltsgesetz (Water Resources Act §19). Only specialists with this seal of quality are allowed to install and maintain environmentally sensitive plants in order to protect soil and ground water.
