Construction of the TSA3 Tanker Bridge

For our client Currenta, we constructed a tanker ship loading platform located directly in the middle of the Rhine — a technically demanding project with unique challenges. The prestressed‑concrete loading platform rests on an oval pylon and was built within the protection of a sheet‑pile cofferdam.

In addition to concrete and reinforced‑concrete works, our scope included the creation of media‑tight surfaces and complex formwork and reinforcement tasks. Thanks to meticulous planning and close coordination, the project was completed safely and on schedule despite the risk of flooding.
